Level Up Medical (PTY) LTD, trading as Level Up, is an ICT Solution Company that provides custom Software services, IT Services, and IT products to the medical sector.

The company’s core product is a proprietary medical practice management solution, designed for any small to large medical practice. The solution allows you to capture patient information, bill procedures directly to medical aids, generate invoices and successfully run a medical business.

The idea for the company began during the early months of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic when private healthcare providers approached the various established medical software companies to ask for temporary reductions on fees due to a loss of business and were unable to reach a unanimous positive outcome.

After thorough independent research of the current leading systems and interviewing those that work daily on these systems to gather the needs of the modern medical practice the founders of Level Up, being part of the medical industry, empathetic to the healthcare providers’ plight and seeing a need for change decided to come together to provide practitioners with a simpler, cost-effective, and modern system.

The Level Up software system was then built based on a mixture of both open source and Microsoft licensed technologies which reduced the operating cost by limiting the amount of licenses needed. This cost saving was then passed down to the client making Level Up one of the cheapest service providers.

The product is offered via a monthly service subscription per software licence per practice with an additional fee levied to each claim reimbursement request sent via the software. The subscription service includes patient Fam-checks and Eligibility queries subject to Fair Use Policy.

As a value-added service Level Up also offers Claim Assist. The Claim Assist service allows the practitioner to concentrate on patient care while Level Up manages the various day to day billings and Medical Aid follow ups.
